On September 23, 2024, T.I. and Tiny Harris were awarded $71 million in damages after a jury found that MGA Entertainment’s “L.O.L. Surprise! O.M.G.” dolls had infringed on the intellectual property of their girl group, OMG Girlz. This outcome came after several trials, including a mistrial and an initial loss, but the couple successfully argued that the dolls copied the group’s likeness and style.
